Weekend Road Trip, Mashpee 2/2/13: Winter hike in Lowell Holly Reservation

If your looking for something else to do this weekend instead of the Big game, we’ve got u covered. This hike is family friendly. Not to long for the kids. Interesting trails thru woodlands and around a couple ponds. The Lowell Holly Reservation is on South Sandwich Rd. in Mashpee. Have fun and take a winter hike.

After the hike stop by Persy’s Place for a great breakfast or lunch. they’ve got a large selection on their menus. Rt. 28 Mashpee.


WMVY Chili Cook off

If you’re looking for something different to do and very last-minute that’s not to far from home. Head over to Oak Bluff’s on the Vineyad for WMVY Big Chili Contest. An annual Event sponsored by WMVY radio. Proceeds to benefit The Red Stocking Fund. Location: Portuguese – American Club 11 am. A family friendly event. A couple inches of snow in the trees, should be great.
