Weekender Grill and Chill / Mexican Corn

This Monday 6/11/12 is National Corn Day and in celebration here is our # 2 things to grill recipe., Mexican Steamed Corn on the grill.
Peel and remove husks from 4 ears of corn.
Brush corn liberally with softened or melted butter.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, cayenne and lemon juice.
Seal in individual foil packets. Leave room when sealing for steam in packet. Toss onto grill and grill for about 15 minutes on medium to high heat. Turn a couple times. Remove from grill and crack 4 cold ones. Try Sams Summer ale or Tecate to keep with the Mexican theme. Enjoy.

Fathers day coming up

June is finally here and with it the start of the summer season, my favorite time of year.
To kick off, only  about 2 more weeks to do your fathers day shopping, why not stop into my friend Silvia’s by the sea. Sylvia has some new gear that the dads will love. I need a new Tommy Bahama shirt if anyone’s reading hint hint. When you go  say hi to Sylvia for me!
